WA Maritime Museum

Looking for something to do these school holidays? The WA Maritime Museum is a world-class museum at the western end of Victoria Quay. Exhibits include the famous Australia II sailing yacht (complete with world's first - for its time - winged keel) and the jacket worn by then PM Bob Hawke on the day of the celebration of winning the Americas Cup in 1983 (40 years ago this year). Enjoy interactive technological displays, a gift shop and cafe, all air conditioned, perfect for these warm days. Something for all ages and abilities.
